Mads here! Let's talk about where to have a friend date in Los Angeles.

I was inspired by the release of the Amazon MGM Studios movie, My Old Ass (that is now in select theaters and everywhere September 27th)! It stars Aubrey Plaza and Maisy Stella and is written & directed by Megan Park…I mean you won’t want to miss it. A mushroom trip brings free-spirited Elliott face-to-face with her 39-year-old self. But when Elliott's "old ass" delivers warnings to her younger self, Elliott realizes she has to rethink everything about her family, friends, life, and love 💕

So, in the spirit of deepening that bond with your friends, your family, and with yourself, here are some Los Angeles places to take your loved ones on a date:

• Udatsu Sushi LA, Hollywood 🍣 This highly anticipated Michelin-starred omakase restaurant from Tokyo has recently opened in Hollywood. It’s an intimate space with only a handful of seats at the counter. I MUST go.

• Flowers Finest, Eagle Rock 🫖 AH!! My besties at Flowerhead Tea are opening up a retail and tea club, and you’re invited to their grand opening party on Sunday! There will be complimentary ice cream by Fluffy’s, drinks by Capri Club, and tea by Flowerhead Tea (duh).

• Sì Roma, West Hollywood 🥪 This authentic Italian sandwich spot first started serving paninis out of a school bus and has now opened their first ever brick-and-mortar on Melrose. I’m drooling…

• Linden, Hollywood 🍴 I visited Linden this weekend as part of Biite & Resy’s dinner series, and…omg. Easily one of the most memorable meals I’ve had this year. Must orders include the duck fat fries and rice over lamb. Pop over to their speakeasy after dinner for a nightcap.
