Mads here! This past weekend, I was in Santa Barbara for a wedding. I was able to check out a few newer spots that have been on my list lately: Satellite (natty wine on State St), The Eddy (cool boutique grocery store), and CAJÉ (the Arlington location with the stunning patio) 🗺️

Speaking of patios, to know me is to know that I love a patio. Friend of Camber, @kactus.jpg, shared a list of her favorite patios in her latest newsletter that you should def check out. A few more I would add: Superba Hollywood, L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Agnes, Wife & the Somm, and Botanica. What’s your fave patio in LA? 🍽️

Oh, also this is a cool guide to coffee shops that are putting an artisanal spin on the pumpkin spice latte. Slammers is my fave 🎃

• Highland Park, Wednesday 10/4 🎨 Great friend date idea: CAMP is having another one of their open studio setups with different crafts to choose from: watercolor, drawing, friendship bracelets, painting rocks, etc.

• Chinatown, Wednesday 10/4 🍽️ It’s Snacks, Tracks, & Ringgo night at Lasita on Wednesday to kick off Fil-Am History Month!

• Venice, Thursday 10/5 🍷 It’s Venice Beach Wine Club’s 1 year anniversary, and you’re invited to their party. There will be a photo booth and plennnnty of wine.

• Hollywood, Thursday 10/5 🎶 I recently discovered The Record Club, which hosts vinyl listening parties at Studio 71 at Grandmaster Recorders. Their next one is Thursday, and you’ll be listening to Continuum by John Mayer from start to finish on vinyl, in high fidelity sound.

• Santa Monica, Thursday 10/5 🍷 One of my favorite natty wine spots in Los Olivos, Stolpman’s Fresh Garage, is popping up at Lady & Larder on Thursday! This is gonna be quite the evening.

• DTLA, Thursday 10/5 🤝 Calling all singles! Friend or Flame is throwing a speed dating party at Alamo Drafthouse on Thursday.

• Venice, Thursday 10/5 🍸 A non-alcoholic mixology class! Absence of Proof and Saje Wellness are teaming up to bring you an elevated non-alcoholic mix & sip experience.

• DTLA, Thursday 10/5 🍷 Now this is a paint & sip I can get behind. On Thursday, you’ll sip on natty wine at Good Clean Fun and be able to paint on and take home your wine glass. Like this!

• Venice, Friday 10/6 ⛳ I always say that Penmar is a great place to meet other hotties. Good thing LA SOSO CLUB is hosting a Sunset Sessions Missed Connections at Penmar gathering on Friday!

• Venice, Friday 10/6 🍽️ It’s First Friday on Abbot Kinney! A tried and true date night idea.

• Los Feliz, Friday 10/6 & Saturday 10/7 🍂 Domenica Dinette & Sarah Durning are popping up at Cafe Caravan for a warm & spiced fall dinner!

• Culver City, Saturday 10/7 🕺 Good Boy Wine is throwing a daytime outdoor hi-fi sound & wine dance party. Um, yes please.

• Santa Monica, Sunday 10/8 🎾 OLA Beach Tennis is having their last tournament of the year on Sunday. All levels are welcome, and this is one of the best ways to meet new people in the city. Use code CAMBER15 for a discount!

• Chinatown, Sunday 10/8 🍻 Homage Brewing is putting on their 2nd Annual Homage Masumoto "Pêche" event. They’re bringing together some tasty Peach beers from some of their favorite makers.

• Gyoza Bar, Echo Park 🥟 This spot recently soft launched in Echo Park. They’re promising gyozas and noodles obsessively made with specialty flour from Japan.

• Budonoki, Virgil Village 🍣 This izakaya pop-up now has a permanent home in Virgil Village. Eek, I’m so excited to try!

• All’Antico Vinaio, Venice 🥪 The Florence sandwich shop you went to while studying abroad has opened on Abbot Kinney. Here’s me gobbling up their sandwich during their last pop-up at chi SPACCA.

• Linden, Hollywood 🍽️ According to their Instagram, this recently opened Hollywood spot blends together the cuisines of New York, the Caribbean, and Jewish traditions by Chef Jon Harris. I’m sold.

• Esme, Culver City ☕ Culver City has a new all-day spot: Esme! They’ll be serving a mix of Middle Eastern and Latin flavors. Their grand opening is on Saturday 10/7.

• Gucci Osteria, Beverly Hills 🍷 I recently went to the Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills for a fancy shmancy dinner. Tucked away on a tiny rooftop on Rodeo Drive equipped with Gucci chairs and inventive dishes, this is definitely a special occasion spot. Full TikTok recap coming soon.
