ποΈ THINGS TO DO ποΈ
π For all my tinned fish enthusiasts: Saltie Girl is putting on a Tinned Fish Mini Summit on Monday 3/27. You'll be hearing from the women at the forefront of tinned fish in honor of International Women's Month.
π· I'm fangirling over this one: Molly Baz is making an appearance at KAMP on Tuesday 3/28. You can get your cookbooks and Drink This Wine bottles signed. The first 15 tickets to be purchased using the code CAMBERDTW here will get $5 off!
π½οΈ Malli is putting on a special event in collaboration with asi asi (supper club and social house in Boyle Heights) on Thursday 3/30. The 6-course dinner that will be served is inspired by the Jewish & Mexican history of Boyle Heights. Oh, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Las Fotos Project.
πΌοΈ Junior High is hosting a one-night pop-up at The Other Art Fair on Friday 3/31. This is going to be a cool evening of emerging artists in Santa Monica.
πΏ This weekend, Herb Club is hosting Spring Medicine Making Workshops on Saturday 4/1 and Sunday 4/2. You'll learn how to make herbal salts, herbal honey, and more.
π¦ͺ Sanctuaire Shoppe is having a relaunch party on Saturday 4/1 at their store on Main Street. They'll be celebrating with oysters, wine, and flowers. Count me in!
ποΈ MAUM Market has a monthly residency at the Hollywood Farmers' Market every first Sunday of the month! Expect a mini market of AAPI makers.
πΊ On Sunday, 4/2, Sam x Sam and Winston House are putting on a concert experience benefitting Planned Parenthood. All proceeds are being donated directly to PP. Get your tickets here!
π Celebrate Earth Month with Whimsy & Row on Sunday 4/2. Bring clothes and beauty empties to be recycled, and youβll receive a special discount!
πPLACES TO BEπ
Malibu Brewing Co
Malibu
I'm going to be here all summer long πΊ
Here's how it's going to go: spend the day at Lechuza Beach and then head to Malibu Brewing Co for a flight (my favorite was the Wild Grove) and small bites.
The perfect ending to a beach day in this idyllic new shopping center off PCH.
ROCA Pizza
Pacific Palisades
Here's your next pizza take-out spot.
ROCA just opened in Caruso's own Palisades Village. It's by the creators of CPK who were inspired by Roman-style street pizza during a recent trip to Italy. The sleek spot has all the square slices on display and nice salads to choose from as well.
Make sure to get the pepperoni hot honey slice π
Cofax
Fairfax
You'll find this spot on every "best breakfast burrito in LA" list π―
Cofax is where you go when you need to soak up a hangover, especially with the pastrami burrito. They also just extended their hours for dinner Mon - Fri serving items like fried chicken burritos and smash burger burritos.
Don't mind if I do.
π¬ ONE FINAL THING π¬
Guilty lol π
See ya around,
Mads
