Okay, let's get to the going.
ποΈ THINGS TO DO ποΈ
π· Until Tuesday 3/14, all wine bottles at Little Prince at 15% off. You better stock up!
πΎ Ola Beach Tennis is back! Every Tuesday in Santa Monica. All skill levels welcome, thank god.
π Rome-based food writer, Katie Parla, is hosting a tasting from her new cookbook at Capri Club on Thursday 3/16. Buon appetito!
π Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Everson Royce Bar on Friday 3/17: whiskey shots, food specials, and DJs.
π Local clothing brand Lykke Wullf is having a spring studio shopping party on Friday 3/17 and Saturday 3/18. Expect an insanely good sample sale section and specialty drinks.
CAMBER IRL πΆ Our March Walk Club is this Saturday 3/18, and this time we're partnering with Alfred Coffee! We'll meet at their Marina Del Rey location, take a little stroll, and end up back at the shop for some coffee and schmoozing.
ποΈ Woon turns 4 this Saturday 3/18! In addition to their fan favorites, they'll have La Morra Pizza, karaoke, and beer from Homage Brewing. It's gonna be a party.
β Another Less is More Market in Costa Mesa on Saturday 3/18! You can shop from vintage, jewelry, and ceramics vendors.
π§ For my sober friends, Zero Proofed is hosting a poolside yoga and cocktails day at Hotel June on Saturday 3/18. Such a mood booster.
π§ββοΈ Little Lunch is throwing the ultimate self care Saturday on 3/18. I'm talking, breathwork, ice plunge, braid bar, mini facials, and more. I would recommend coming to our walk, and then heading there after!
πPLACES TO BEπ
Little Dom's
Los Feliz
This is one of those classic spots in the city that feels so local and neighborhoodly.
Little Dom's is a Los Angeles institution. It's cozy, moody, and the food feels like a home-cooked meal. Be sure to order a martini and the rice balls. Go for date night, family night, or any night π
Oh, and you'll probably run into a HAIM sister or Bill Hader there.
The Class
Santa Monica
This workout class is a therapy dupe. And yes, it's called The Class.
Before I tried it for myself, I had heard whispers about what happens in The Class: people screaming, laughing, crying, all while working out. I had heard that it was this cathartic release.
Although I was intimidated, it ended up being one of the most meaningful fitness classes I've ever attended (and I've attended a lot). The Class is this judgement-free zone to unleash your emotions and move your body freely. Everyone leaves their ego at the door, and it's so refreshing π§
They have a new client special going on, where you can get 2 classes for the price of 1. I would highly encourage you give yourself this gift.
Cuyama Buckhorn
New Cuyuma
This is for all my coastal cowgirls π€
If you're looking for a new getaway from the city, you've gotta get out to Cuyama Buckhorn in California's high desert. This renovated roadside hotel oozes western vibes with sophistication. You can chill by the pool, enjoy s'mores by the firepits, indulge in bbq at their restaurant, or visit a local vineyard.
And (of course), they have Canyon Coffee in every room. This was the perfect weekender.
π¬ ONE FINAL THING π¬
See ya around,
Mads
