🎉 HAPPY 2024 🎉
Mads and Lauren (Camber co-founders) here! A little senti note from us:
To the beautiful people of Camber, thank you. From the very beginning and to this day, we set out to bring people closer to places they'll love. You all show up and show out for Rummikub and walks and workouts and fun new restaurants and coffee shops, and you're the lifeblood of this community 🤝
We offer our deepest gratitude for being on this journey with us, for every DM and laugh and IRL hang and newsletter read and every time you get to discover and experience an awesome new spot. We're so happy you're here, and we're excited to continue getting out there in 2024 🗓️
Our wishes for you all in 2024 are to find (1) your next favorite cup of coffee or fun drink, (2) the most spectacular, inspirational view or lookout point, and (3) even a cool new friend or two or three along the way. We'll be here to help guide you through it all 🗺️
Cheers to welcoming in a brand new year of being local tourists together!!
👋 OH HEY 👋
Mads here! Over the break, I spent time outside of LA at some of my favorite getaways from the city. If you’re looking to plan a mini weekender, might I suggest the following:
The Sea Ranch Lodge, Sea Ranch 🌊 This boutique hotel has been on my list FOREVER. And it lived up to the hype. The architecture, the design, the VIEW…I mean we just walked along the water and the cliffside like we were the queen when she visits Scotland in The Crown. 10/10 recommend for a restorative trip.
Le Petit Pali, Carmel-by-the-Sea 🍷 I’ve been going to Carmel every year over the holidays for the past 7 years. So I’ve stayed at quite a few boutique hotels there, and when my friends at Palihouse mentioned that they just opened up Le Petit Pali there, I just HAD to check it out. Here are some of my Carmel recs.
Alisal Ranch, Santa Ynez Valley 🐴 I stayed at this luxury dude ranch over Christmas, and it was simply the coziest vibes. Really good for families because there are a ton of activities on the property or for a romantic getaway. Book your stay here!
