This past week, we had the absolute pleasure of showing Matthew and Asha from My Fault: London around LA before their big movie premiere. Since they're both new to LA, we took them to some of our favorite spots—and they had the best time exploring! Here’s where we went:

🚗 Motoring Coffee: Since My Fault: London features some incredible high-speed chase scenes, this spot was a must. The collection of cars was next level, and let’s just say, they might have had a little too much fun (and a little too much matcha) while checking it all out!

🎵 Endless Noise Coffee & Vinyl: In addition to acting, Asha is also a musician and songwriter, so this was the perfect spot for her. She loved the vinyl collection and was especially into the recording studio in the back—plus, there may have been a small detour to hang out with the house cat. We talked all things music, film prep, and the best places for live music in LA.

📖 Ripped Bodice: Ending the day here felt like the perfect full-circle moment. We even got to meet Mercedes Ron, the author of Culpa Mia, the book that inspired the movie! There’s nothing like this shop where Matthew and Asha live, so they were in awe of the dedication to the romance genre. P.S. -- she signed some books in-store, so pick one up if you have a chance!

• Culver City, Thursday 2/20 🎨 A very low pressure art hang: a paint & sip with collaging as well. Plus, you can order food to snack on at Esme!

• Atwater Village, Thursday 2/20 - Sunday 2/23 🖼️ It’s The Other Art Fair this week! They combine affordable and original artworks and 140 independent artists with immersive installations, performances, DJs – and a fully stocked bar.

• Venice, Thursday 2/20 😆 It’s a special night of laughter and giving back at KINN's Stand-Up for the Fires: Benefit Comedy Show. This unforgettable evening will bring together comedy and community to support those affected by the devastating LA fires.

• Santa Monica, Friday 2/21 🍶 It’s aged sake and sushi night at Crudo e Nudo! Sip on Sake High! while enjoying a custom menu including crudo and nigiri.

• Santa Monica, Friday 2/21 🥳 This is too good: a party for people who are named Daniel. Yep…it’s an all-Daniel party and will be the greatest collection of Daniels that LA has ever seen. All in one place.

• Koreatown, Saturday 2/22 🥢 There’s a new supper club in town! It’s called Friend of a Friend, and their first one is at Open Market. You can expect a family-style, Asian inspired menu with wine pairings throughout.

• Frogtown, Saturday 2/22 🧘‍♀️ This is so wholesome: breathe + stretch in the park with Intrabreath.

• Culver City, Saturday 2/22 🪷 Here’s a benefit concert, wellness event, and fundraiser for LA Wildfire Relief called RES·O·NATE. There will be a guided soundbath and meditation, live performances by local artists, complimentary aura photos, and more. A ticket purchase is a donation, with 100% of proceeds supporting displaced families, wildfire recovery and animal rescue efforts.

• All over, Saturday 2/22 & Sunday 2/23 🥪 The viral Padrino sandwich from Pizzana is back this weekend!!! It’s stacked thick with imported Italian meats and cheeses, and we’re already drooling just thinking about it. Make sure to preorder here, this one always sells out!

• Beverly Grove, Saturday 2/22 & Sunday 2/23 🎀 Emi Jay has a pop-up shop at The Grove to celebrate their launch at Sephora. There will be a lot of free surprises!

• Kettl, Los Feliz 🍵 This Japanese tea shop from NYC is opening a location in Los Feliz! I have a feeling that their matcha is gonna be added to a loooot of lists.

• Palms n’ Patties, Santa Monica 🍔 New neighborhood smash burger joint with inside out buns. Drooling.

• 3Thyme Coffee, Koreatown 🍷 Coffee shop by day, wine bar by night. Guys they have a red velvet cream cheese latte…

• Boichik Bagels, Los Feliz 🥯 Popular Bay Area bagel spot has opened in Los Feliz! They’re serving up serious NY-style bagels.

• Sapp, Thai Town 🇹🇭 Not new, but a friend recently recommended this Thai joint to me, and I’ve been thinking of it ever since.

• Neighbors & Friends, Pasadena 🧀 Woah, a make-your-own charcuterie board shop?! They also do a monthly cookbook supper club, and their next one is this Sunday 2/23!

• Tobe Coffee, East Hollywood ☕️ New coffee shop with drinks made with fresh kona coffee beans directly from Hawaii. This brown cheese cream latte….
