Pride month, salsa lessons, and national rosé day
We met 50 of you this weekend!!!! During our first walk club, we gathered at TreePeople to meet each other and walk together. This is the reason we created Camber: to blend the online and offline experience of discovering your new favorite place. We hope to see you at the next one 🚶♂️

Okay, let's get to the going.
🗓️ THINGS TO DO 🗓️
💃 Omg The Victorian offers Salsa lessons. Next one is Thursday 6/9.
✨ Hear me out: a Taylor Swift vs Olivia Rodrigo dance party on Thursday 6/9. I actually went to one of these when Taylor released her All Too Well (10 Minute Version), and it was a damn delight.
VIRTUAL 📲 On Thursday 6/9 at 3 PM PST, I'll be chatting with Stevie from The City of Dating on IG Live about the best date spots in NYC & LA. Come through and chat with us!
🏳️🌈 Happy Pride!! ROW DTLA is having a Night of Pride with Shopify featuring LGBTQ+ artists, brands, and DJs.
🚴 Bikers!! Luft in Venice is hosting a 32-mile bike ride on Saturday 6/11. Best part: post-ride pizza and beverages.
🍷 Bet you didn't know that Saturday 6/11 is National Rosé Day. Well, Summer Water is putting on a little celebration at Hotel June.
🧘 You know what pairs well with a beach clean-up? Beach morning yoga. Gnarwal Coffee and Havaianas are putting together a beach day on Saturday 6/11.
📍PLACES TO BE📍
Cento Pasta Bar
West Adams
We had a reservation for 8:45 PM on a Wednesday, and it was STILL packed. That's how in demand Cento Pasta Bar is.
Of c we tried their infamous beet spaghetti and spicy pomodoro with dollops on dollops of ricotta on top. Also, don't skip the hamachi crudo.
Ancillary benefit: they have a top notch patio that is good for groups and countertop seating for a solo date night.
Holmby Park
Beverly Hills
This was my pandemic park.
TBH, I didn't really know that Los Angeles had good parks before the pandemic (lol). When I discovered Holmby, it was game over. To this day, one of my favorite ways to spend a lazy afternoon is to bring a beach chair, wine, and book to the park and loaf around for hours.
Pro-tip: walking around the neighboring homes in Holmby Hills can serve as your new manifestation practice.
Laveta
Echo Park
You've probably seen this coffee shop on TikTok. Friend of Camber, Emily, said it reminds her of Kim Kardashian's house, and I couldn't have said it better myself.
I've tried their signature Laveta drink and the Barista Horchata. Both droolworthy. Next time your friend asks "where should we meet for coffee?"...recommend this place.
💬 ONE FINAL THING 💬
See ya around,
Mads
