Mads here! How are my Camberries? Did you get up to some trouble this weekend? Let’s share a weekly recap, shall we?

• 🍸 I went to Dan Tana’s for the first time. I know, I know, put me in LA foodie jail. This spot is what you think of when you hear “red sauce Italian joint.” Order a martini (duh) and chicken parm.

• 🍣 Crown Affair released their new air dry mousse and invited me to Nobu Malibu to celebrate. Yes, I inhaled basically every sashimi taco that was being passed around.

•  🍊 One of my favorite non-alcoholic brands, De Soi, invited me to Gjusta to celebrate their new Spritz Italiano flavor that tastes like an Aperol Spritz. It’s going to be THE drink of the summer. Also, Gjusta’s little backyard courtyard is precious for anyone looking to do a private event.

• 🌊 On Friday, I had myself a Manhattan Beach day. I first stopped off at Nick and Sons for natty wine and beach snacks, had oysters and orange wine at Fishing with Dynamite, walked around the cute downtown area, then had more food at Manhattan Beach Post (a classic).

• 🍽️ Finally checked out Azizam! After years of being a modern Persian food pop-up, they recently opened their own space in Silver Lake. Order the maast o mousir & beef tongue sandwich.

• West Hollywood, Wednesday 5/22 🏋️ The plant-based energy drink, Joggy, is hosting a workout class at the oh-so-cool Heimat! It will be a 50-minute strength class with fun people and lots of ice cold Joggy.
