👋 OH HEY 👋

Justine here! You might’ve seen my face pop up on the Camber page recently, but in case you missed it—I’m Justine, Camber’s newest Cambassador 🎉 I’m that friend everyone texts for LA recs. If there’s a new opening, best believe I’m checking it out.

We could talk about my star sign and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, but honestly? I’d rather tell you my go-to spots around the city. That’s how you really get to know someone, right?

Here are just a few of my forever favorites:

  • Bodega Park, Silver Lake 🥪 There aren’t many cafes where you can get an incredible latte and a solid meal. This place clears that allegation. My holy trinity: the Misugaru Black Sesame Latte, Bodega Chopped Cheese, and Korean Hot Fried Chicken Wings.

  • Pizzeria Sei, Pico-Robertson 🍕 Tokyo-style pizza that earned a spot on the Top 50 Best Pizzas in the world. Believe the hype. The Patate Pizza genuinely changed my brain chemistry. And if you can snag a seat at their Pizza Omakasei? Life-changing.

  • Pigya, Koreatown 🇰🇷 This might be a bold statement, but Pigya is my spot for Korean BBQ. As a pork-over-beef girlie, I stand by it. The value, the quality, the vibes. Every set comes with kimchi fried rice (scorched with cheese, obviously) and spicy ramyeon to end the meal.

  • Camel Coffee, Silver Lake 🍵 The hype is very, very real. I rarely crave matcha as hard as I do their Camel Matcha. So good, I get two for myself. The petite size practically requires it.

  • Camphor, Arts District 🥩 Camphor is always a solid move, but their steak frites night? Next level. Every Thursday, they serve up a full spread—salad and bread to start, a perfectly cooked steak, and fries so good they live rent-free in my mind.

  • Paderia Bakehouse, Santa Monica 🍪 Ending on a sweet note (obviously). Paderia is home to some of the best baked goods in the city. The Chocolate Walnut Cookie? Elite. The Banana Pudding? Immaculate. But the real star? The Portuguese Egg Tarts. Silky, buttery custard wrapped in flaky, golden pastry... and every ounce of self-control it takes not to walk out with a dozen.

I could keep going, but I’ll leave it there... for now 🤭 Catch my videos on Camber for more recs!
