👋 OH HEY 👋

Mads here! I had quite the weekend visiting some new (and old) spots around town:

  • 🥬 First up, Cookbook Market on Larchmont is by FAR my favorite location of theirs. They have a whole cafe patio that I could spend hours at.

  • 🍵 Then, I popped over to Suá Superette to say hi to co-founder Stephanie, grab a matcha, and check out the incredible Chinese mini mart she created with Fly by Jing founder, Jing Gao.

  • 🍟 I checked out the new wine garden & French restaurant, Le Champ, in the Arts District. Everyone must go there for date night or a friend hangout. Get the fries. Trust me.

  • 🍷 This past week I also popped my El Prado cherry (more on that below).

  • 🥪 I did the classic Bay Cities to beach pipeline on Sunday evening to watch the sunset (at 4:30 PM might I add).

Thank you to everyone who walked with us this past Saturday with our friends at HUM Nutrition. This was one of our biggest walk clubs yet, and I’m so happy I got to meet all of you (while we were decked out in hot pink HUM bucket hats). See you at the next one 😎

Oh, and did you hear…OUR APP IS NOW IN THE APP STORE! Can’t wait to follow all of you on Camber 📲 We’ve been slowly releasing it out, so expect exciting updates soon.

  • Highly Likely, Highland Park  My favorite day-to-night spot is opening their second location this week in Highland Park! I can’t wait to visit.

  • Suá Superette, Larchmont 🍵 I visited the new Chinese grab-and-go mini market equipped with AAPI pantry staples, home goods, and a full coffee bar. The space is gorgeous and fits perfectly on Larchmont. Get the matcha and say hi to the owner Stephanie!

  • Buvons, Long Beach 🍷 I wish I could live in this natty wine bar. They have walls and walls lined with bottles, cozy patio seating, and fun food pop-ups like Boy Blue.

  • Cafe Kitsuné, Silver Lake 🛍️ Maison Kitsuné has opened up a coffee shop right next door to their Silver Lake shop. Here’s a cute guide they put together with Victoria Paris.

  • 6XS COFFEE, Koreatown This coffee shop has a donut latte. I mean…

  • El Prado, Echo Park 🍷  This cool kids natty wine bar in Echo Park is always packed. Order a hot dog and a glass of orange natty wine, and you’ll be golden.

  • A Good Used Book, Historic Filipinotown 📖 A new cute AF used bookstore soft opened in Historic Filipinotown!

  • Cosette Wine Bar, Studio City 🍷 There’s a new wine bar on the second floor of the Rolling Greens in Studio City. Count me in.

  • Smögen Appetizers, Studio City 🥯 Move over Courage & Layla, there’s a new bagel in town. Check out this bagel pop-up inside Vintage Wine + Eats every weekend.

  • Blind Barber, Culver City 🍸 This speakeasy in a barber shop in Culver City has re-opened, and it’s better than ever.

💬 ONE FINAL THING 💬

See ya around,

Mads
