Mads here! Despite the rain (which can we like not anymore please), I had quite the eventful weekend:

  • ☁️ Summer Fridays took over the APL store at The Grove to launch their new under-eye cream, and we visited their cloud activation on Friday. It was dreamy!!

  • 🍸 Kylie Jenner launched her canned cocktail, Sprinter, and was popping up on Melrose Place over the weekend. We got to peek in before it was open to the public. I guess I like vodka now?

  • 🧆 Adding this spot to my favorite Persian restaurants in LA: Sadaf in Encino. My order is maust khiar, fesenjan with tahdig, and naderi soltani.

  • 🍕 Went to Pizzeria Mozza to visit Nancy. They’ve made some awesome additions to the menu like a pizza collab with Parks BBQ, mac & cheese, and Japanese sweet potatoes.

ALSO, I’m going to be on NBC’s “California Live” this Friday at 11:30 AM talking about the coolest things to do this weekend in LA!! My TV debut!! You can watch live on NBC or it’ll be online that afternoon for all you cord cutters.

In honor of Women’s History Month, we're putting on an outdoor self-defense class to show how women can stay safe both off and on Bumble.

We'll meet at Platform LA's park, take a 1.5 hour self-defense class, and then enjoy small bites and beverages afterwards!

  • Little Lunch, Santa Monica ☕ Omfg Little Lunch opened a second location in Santa Monica!! They took over the old Please Enjoy Coffee Bar for the daytime concept. At night, it’s still Offhand Wine Bar!

  • Dada Bar, Echo Park 🍴 Dada Market is home to Little Fish’s permanent home, and they just opened their own bar & restaurant called Dada Bar. Their IG is super mysterious, so I’ll need to go and report back!

  • Tectonic Coffee, West Hollywood ☕ New-ish coffee shop in WeHo that’s giving Silver Lake vibes.

  • Fiorelli Pizza at Farm House, Venice 🍕 Farm House throws day parties & silent discos at an urban farm in Venice (fun!), and the pizza concept Fiorelli Pizza is serving up wood-fired pizzas there.

  • Villa’s Tacos, DTLA 🌮 This iconic taco spot in HLP (that was also on Netflix’s Taco Chronicles) has opened a second location in Grand Central Market. Drooling.

  • Forage, Silver Lake 🌳 Not new, but underrated. This hidden gem in Silver Lake has the most charming patio. It’s like eating in a treehouse. Perfect for spring!

  • Lorenzo, Beverly Hills 🥪 There have been so many Florentine sandwich spots opening in LA! Lorenzo is the latest one in Beverly Hills.

  • Chip Cookies, Culver City 🍪 Friend of Camber, Emily Seoane, called this “Chipotle but for cookies.” Just opened in Culver City!

  • Cafe Tropical, Silver Lake 🥐 Ah, Cafe Tropical is back! They briefly closed, but just reopened under new ownership. TG.
