🌞 What exactly is the Summer Solstice?
LA Design Festival, poetry night, & our breathwork class!

A MESSAGE FROM “MASTERWORKS”
Have you ever walked past that Banksy in DTLA called “Swing Girl” and wished you could own a part of it?
Um duh, but how?
Well, now you can thanks to the fine-art investing platform Masterworks. Instead of just investing in your traditional stocks and bonds, you can add a Banksy (among other artists) to your portfolio.
Guys, Masterworks has built a track record of 8 exits, the last 3 realizing 10.4%, 35%, and 13.9% net returns*. In this economy?!
Typically, offerings can sell out in just minutes but Camber newsletter readers can skip the waitlist with this exclusive link.
👋 OH HEY 👋
Mads here! Everyone needs to watch the show Platonic. I’m a sucker for shows based in LA because I get to shout at the TV “OMG I KNOW THAT PLACE!” (I’m looking at you Jet Rag and Arts District Brewing Co) 🍻
Wow I didn’t realize it was the Summer Solstice this week, and also didn’t really know what the significance of that was until I Googled lol. But, there are A LOT of events below to help you celebrate it. The sun is finally out, so let’s get to the going 🌞
Okay, now on to the coolest things happening this week.
🗓️ THINGS TO DO 🗓️
CAMBER IRL 🧘 We’re hosting a breathwork class with my favorite meditation studio, Open, on Sunday 6/25 in Venice. We’ll have a salad with Nour dressing and non-alcoholic drinks from De Soi to enjoy afterwards. The perfect Sunday evening.
🦪 Fig Tree in Venice just launched a new summer happy hour menu Monday through Friday: wines by the glass starting at $8, small plates ranging from $4-$12, and 6 oysters for $12. Sign me up.
🥤 Guess who has the latest Erewhon smoothie collab?
🍸 Happy Pride Month! Head out to Queer Industry Night at Thunderbolt on Tuesday 6/20. Expect an incredibly stacked lineup of LGBTQ+ bartenders from the city's best cocktail bars serving up a night of cocktails and community.
🍷 One of my favorite natty wine shops, KAMP, is hosting an Aperitivo Hour with Ghia on Wednesday 6/21. Cin cin!
🏊 Celebrate the Summer Solstice with a pop-up bazaar, night swim, and live DJ at Silver Lake Pool & Inn on Wednesday 6/21.
🌞 Dreams is throwing a Summer Solstice party filled with tarot readings, glamour portraits, and vegan cakes on Wednesday 6/21.
✍️ It’s Poetry Night at Little Lunch on Wednesday 6/21. This is my kind of night.
🖼️ The LA Design Festival starts on Thursday 6/22 at ROW DTLA! There will be design talks, exhibitions, and engaging workshops & events.
🌱 I love a garden party. Join this Summer Solstice dinner with wine pairings by Wavy Wines on Friday 6/23.

🍽️ Spanish tapas pop-up, Serrano, will be at Coffee MCO’s new wine bar Red Room on Friday 6/23 and Saturday 6/24. Okay, yum.
🍦 For all my lactose-intolerant friends (and lovers of chocolate), Shake Shack has a new non-dairy chocolate shake! Visit their first ever truck for complimentary mini shakes on Friday 6/23 at the Santa Monica Pier & Saturday 6/24 on Melrose Place.
🍷 It’s my favorite day on Saturday 6/24: Rosé Day. Friend of Camber, Best Coast Beverages, will be there!
🎥 Cinemauto puts on cultural experiences in pop-up environments around LA with inclusive programming in mind. On Saturday 6/24, they’re showing the film “Real Women Have Curves” along with other activities in this free community event.
🧘 Yoga! Sound healing! Empowerment coaching! You can find all of that and more at Aire Wellness’ event on Saturday 6/24.
🕺 Bkyard Boogie is back in LA this Saturday 6/24! Grab a friend and boogie in Glassell Park.
🪴 I love succulents because they’re the only plant I can manage to keep alive. Good thing Rolling Greens is putting on this Succulent Garden Mini Workshop on Saturday 6/24.
🎾 Looking for a way to play tennis this week (even if you’re a beginner)? Tume Tennis Club is hosting this workout experience for all levels on Saturday 6/24.
🌳 Start off your weekend with yoga in the park! SBJ Esntls started a park yoga series called Esntl Flow, and their next one is Saturday 6/24.

🍽️ My besties at Woon will be popping up at Suay Sew Shop on Saturday 6/24. Bring your clothes to get screen printed!
🎵 We’re all in for a treat this weekend: Link Up has their block party this Saturday 6/24 in the Arts District! This is gonna be the party of the month.
