πŸ₯‘ I don't care if avo toast is basic

Pickleball courts, natural wine tasting, & a boardwalk party

There are so many fun, little streets in LA. Which is why I made this fun, little video about them. Why not pick one this week that you haven't been to yet and explore?

Also, if you're looking to unpack your latest dating trauma with your bestie, here are my recs on where to go. We all need a cleansing gossip session once in a while.

Okay, let's get to the going.

πŸ—“οΈ THINGS TO DO πŸ—“️

  • πŸ• Have a friend visiting LA? If they show their hotel key at Ghisallo until the end of August, you guys could get 15% off!!

  • πŸ“ Wanna play pickleball this week? Check out this cheat sheet from Recess on all the courts in LA.

  • πŸŽ₯ Watch my favorite rom-com on Friday 7/8 in the theater at the Academy Museum.

  • 🎡 OFF THE 405 is the Getty Center's annual outdoor summer concert series (cute name), and they have one coming up on Saturday 7/9. Oh, and did I mention that they're always free?!

  • πŸ‘š Fashion girlies! You can shop the closets of some of your favorite creators IRL on Saturday 7/9. Swing by here.

  • 🍷 Woo, another natural wine party coming your way: Good Boy Wine is putting together a patio party at Club Tee Gee in Atwater Village on Saturday 7/9. Expect tastings from 12 natural wineries and food from my faves Heavy Handed & La Morra Pizzeria. In Sheep's Clothing will also be there with the tunes. I mean...

  • 🍜 BANG BANG Noodles is popping up at Platform this Saturday 7/9. Treat yourself to some hand-pulled noodles and shopping.

  • 🌊 On Saturday 7/9, Resy is putting together a waterfront boardwalk party with food from Cobi’s, Ggiata, Majordōmo (and more!) with experiences from others like Milk Bar and Shake Shack. Nom nom nom.

πŸ“PLACES TO BEπŸ“

Night + Market

Venice, West Hollywood, and Silver Lake

If you're looking for a quiet restaurant to have a chill night at, then this isn't the place for you.

Yet, if you're looking for a rowdy group dinner, loud ass music, and spicy af Thai Food, then Night + Market is your answer. It's a great birthday dinner option.

You gotta get the crispy rice salad, larb gai, and their unique chicken pad thai.

Lolo Wine Bar

East Hollywood

The first time I went to this natural wine bar, I knew it was going to be in my "places to meet a friend at" rotation. Lolo Wine Bar is French bistro adjacent with an excellent bottle shop inside.

Elite patio, funky wine, and pasta that surprises you. Any place with Bub and Grandma's bread on the menu is doing something right.

Oh, also, whoever is running their Instagram deserves a raise. Their captions never fail to make me giggle.

Bravo Toast

West Hollywood

My millennial is showing because...Bravo Toast is excellent. I don't care if avo toast is basic, it's delicious, and that's a fact.

This place is a weekend staple. The Green Goddess and Bagel Toasts are standouts, and don't forget to get their Doheny Latte.

πŸ’¬ ONE FINAL THING πŸ’¬

@InterviewingStrangers on TikTok made this Silverlake Starter Pack. Accurate?

See ya around,
