Mads here! During AMA this week, you guys asked me for the best spots to grab drinks after dinner. I loooved this prompt, so here are my “dinner to drinks pipeline” recs. I mean we got Loreto to Justine’s, Budonoki to Voodoo Vin, Bar Monette to The Georgian, Met Him at a Bar to All Season, Queen St to Capri Club, and many more!

Let’s do a weekly recap, shall we?

• Bar Nine, Culver City 🫘 I used to go to this coffee shop during college in like 2015, and I’m so happy it’s back. They have a roastery on site, tons of seating to work from, and the coffee is as third wave as it gets.

• South Beverly Grill, Beverly Hills 🍸 I believe in Hillstone supremacy, so please don’t cancel me when I say this was my first time at South Beverly Grill. I fear this is going to be a staple for me moving forward.

• Canter’s, West Hollywood 🍷 Friends of Camber Alex Canter & Lily Rosenthal (of the Hot Pastrami Podcast fame) hosted a Shabbat dinner at Canter’s, and it was delightful. We drank Sake High and enjoyed challah from Challahdad.

• The Coco Club, Santa Monica 🌊 Finally, a rooftop bar in Santa Monica!! The Coco Club packs strong cocktails and great views in this Miami-Vice-inspired space. Perfect for sunset drinks before eating at Layla downstairs.

• West Hollywood, Thursday 8/1 😆 This underground comedy house party is celebrating their 3rd birthday, and you’re invited! Tickets here.

• Mid-City, Thursday 8/1 🍴 I love a dinner series!! Especially in the summer. Join fellow female entrepreneurs for a nourishing dinner and guided conversation focused on the theme "Redefining Success."

• Highland Park, Friday 8/2 🧘‍♀️ This sounds soothing: an art + movement workshop at The Fig Leaf. You’ll start with breathwork followed by therapeutic art exercises.

• Culver City, Friday 8/2 🍷 The wine crossover of my dreams. Neighborhood Winery will be popping up at La Sabina for a sidewalk wine tasting party.

• Hollywood, Saturday 8/3 🎉 Yeehawwww! Besa Mi Vino is throwing a Hollywood Hoedown at Sassafrass Saloon on Saturday night. Line dancing! Wine tasting! Live music!

• CUEVA, Venice 🍷 Fig Tree Venice is expanding with the opening of CUEVA, which is inspired by casual nights on the Spanish coast. To celebrate, they’re launching a new grill & natural wine night series. The first one is on 8/1 and will be a lively evening of seafood and wine inspired from travels along the Basque Coast.

• Eastwood, Koreatown 🤠 A country bar in Koreatown? Sure!

• Keys, West Hollywood 🪩 New h.wood Group club opens on Thursday 8/1 in WeHo.

• Berbere Imports, Inglewood 🪑 A giant warehouse of vintage furniture and decor. I’m drooling over this space…

• Pvolve, Santa Monica 🏋️ One of my favorite workout studios has opened a location on the westside!! I’ll be there opening day on 8/1. Will you?
