• 🍷 One of my favorite natural winemakers, Joe Swick, is having an event at one of my favorite natural wine shops, KAMP. It's on Friday 3/10, and tickets are here!

• 🍔 LA Burg is popping up at McCall's Meat & Fish Co on Saturday 3/11 in Los Feliz. Sign. Me. Up.

• 🎨 Wait, how cute is this? Venice Paint Club meets every Saturday, and it's you guessed it: painting on the beach.

• 🕺 (Another) friend of Camber, Mas Vino Please, is throwing a natural wine party at my #1 cocktail bar in the city: Bolita. Saturday 3/11 from 12 - 4 PM!

• 🛍️ The Makers Hive Market is happening on Saturday 3/11 in Culver City. Expect local vendors, food trucks, and photo ops!

• 🖌️ Another Paint & Sip! This one is hosted by Latinas Poderosas & RXLX ART at The Plant Chica on Saturday 3/11.

• 🎙️ The Pretty Basic podcast is popping up at La La Land at The Grove all weekend 3/10 - 3/12. There's a chance to meet Alisha and Remi IRL as well!

• 👚 Long Beach friends! 562 Flea is having their next vintage market on Sunday 3/12. Y2K, jewelry, art & more.

Joan's on Third

Beverly Grove

Alright, this is an oldie but goodie.

I hadn't been to Joan's On Third for probably 2 years and suddenly had this deep craving for their infamous Chinese Chicken Salad. I popped on over there and was instantly transported into a Nancy Meyers movie. I love browsing through the shelves of packaged goods, dips, and canned wine.

I don't know why I was sleeping on this classic lunch spot 🥗

Harvey Easton Cafe

West Hollywood

Wait, I think I just stumbled upon the perfect work-from-coffee-shop-hidden-gem.

Harvey Cafe is below Easton Gym in West Hollywood, and I have driven by this spot so many times but never thought to venture in. I'm SO glad I did because this is immediately being added to my "coffee shops to work from" rotation.

Tons of plugs, free wifi, cozy armchairs, plenty of seating. It feels vintage with a classic coffeehouse vibe ☕

The Courts

Borrego Springs

This chic tennis destination has been on my list forever.

So, I am pretty bad at playing tennis, but I love the community aspect of the spot. That's why when I discovered The Courts, I knew I had to visit it for the desert vibes and cool-kid atmosphere 🎾

I visited this past weekend for a tournament they were having. Although I wasn't participating, I was able to feel tennis-adjacent by chilling poolside, watching matches, and enjoying the other activities as a guest. Highly recommend as a little weekend getaway!
