👋 OH HEY 👋
Mads here! Okay, who saw Barbie this weekend? I’ve already seen it twice lol. Once at the Landmark on Sunset and once at the Grove. I feel like I need to have an iPic moment with it as well (AKA my favorite movie theater in Los Angeles). Also, will anyone that doesn’t live in LA understand all the Century City jokes?! 🎀
Some weekend updates:
🍷 I went to Good Boy Wine’s natty wine festival at Club Tee Gee. This was THE place to be on Saturday. The wine was flowing and the people watching was even better. 100% will be back next year.
☕ Chamberlain Coffee invited us to try their new drink at Élephante. One of my favorite creators was there at brunch with us.
🎲 We had our monthly Rummikub Club at Good Clean Fun in DTLA on Sunday! Thank you to everyone who came out to play and sipped on orange wine with us. Stay tuned for our next one, which will be in West Hollywood.
Oh, did you hear we started a fun TikTok food series featuring our favorite Los Angeles creators? I vlogged us going to their favorite local restaurants in the city all while catching up (and giggling) in the car. You can find it on our TikTok profile under the “Series” tab:
Okay, now on to the coolest things happening this week.

📍ON MY RADAR📍
New openings, places you should know about, what I’m adding to my starting lineup, etc.
Top (Evil Twin, The Ruby Fruit) Bottom (Amiga Amore, RED ROOM)
RED ROOM, Koreatown 🍷 By the people who brought you Coffee MCO comes RED ROOM, a new natural wine & cocktail bar in Koreatown. Only open Thursday - Saturday!
Amiga Amore, Highland Park 🌮 Alright, I’ve been hearing a lot of glowing things about this place. Apparently, it’s a blend of Mexican & Italian food (they call it Mexitalian cuisine). I’m intrigued.
Jemma Di Mare, Brentwood 🦐 This is the seafood-y sister to Ospi. Brentwood really needed a nice dinner spot like this.
The Ruby Fruit, Silver Lake 🍓 This lesbian bar is IT, you guys. Comfort food, natty wine, dope community events.
El Chucho, Mar Vista 🍻 They call themselves “LA’s First Neighborhood Natural Dive Bar.” I’m sold.
Evil Twin, Culver City 🍷 This tiny natty wine bar has been on my list for a while now. Looks cozy!
