A MESSAGE FROM “VUUM”

We might’ve found a protein drink that you’ll actually enjoy…

VUUM is the world’s first sparkling plant protein water that’s packed with 10 grams of protein and boosted with clean caffeine to help you hit your daily protein goals. Bubbly, refreshing, and protein-rich... the future of protein is here.

Strength and energy are at the core of VUUM, so we’re hosting a walk together on Saturday 10/26! Join us for a walk starting at the Palisades Rose Garden and ending with us all mingling and trying VUUM! They’re giving away 5 basketball shorts & coupons to restock VUUM at select stores (while supplies last)!

👋 OH HEY 👋

Mads here! I recently went to a friend’s birthday at The Spare Room, which is this luxurious AF bowling alley in The Hollywood Roosevelt, and it inspired me to put together this list of big group birthday spots and activities in LA:

  • The Spare Room, Hollywood 🎳 This vintage gaming parlor & bowling alley is probably the perfect birthday party activity in LA?! Order a couple of punch bowls, book out both alleys for the night, and enjoy the surrounding cocktail lounge & DJ. Oh, and ask about the secret photo booth!

  • Everson Royce Bar, DTLA 🍹 I’ve hosted and attended many a birthday on the patio of ERB. They have a killer cocktail menu and the best sliders to wash it all down.

  • Bliss Beach, Santa Monica 🐚 This is what I did for my 30th birthday. Bliss Beach put together the most stunning beach setup for me and my friends to relax in the whole afternoon. They even have bonfire options as temperatures start to dip!

  • Homage Brewing, Chinatown 🍻 A great come-and-go spot for a birthday. Come for the beer, stay for the dancing at night.

  • Le Great Outdoor, Santa Monica 🍽️ Feels like you’re hosting your own backyard dinner party at Le Great Outdoor. Order a bunch of natty wine and dishes fresh off the grill.

  • Bia Garden, Echo Park 🍺 This beer garden is having a ~moment~ right now (and for good reason). Stake out a few large tables together and order a bunch of beer and sausages.

  • Ditroit Taqueria, DTLA 🌮 You can take over the entire narrow space at Ditroit Taqueria for endless margaritas and tacos and a rowdy time.

  • More recs here!
