☁️ What in the hygge?
Oatnog, unique markets, & our Camber Holiday Party
It was finally time to watch The Holiday this past week, and it brought up my annual nit-pick: how does Kate Winslet's character take a cab from LAX to Beverly Hills by going south down PCH?! Smh 🤦
Also, thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday for our beach walk with Beyond Yoga! It was a delight to see all your faces and start the day together 🌊 If you couldn't make it this time, I hope we can meet at the next one. Don’t think twice about coming alone because everyone leaves with a new friend or two or three!

Okay, let's get to the going.
🗓️ THINGS TO DO 🗓️
🥡 Leave it to Woon to have a cool ass Holiday Market on Monday 12/5. Food, drinks, local vendors...bless up.
🍵 I audibly gasped when I saw this holiday drink.
☕ Speaking of holiday drinks, happy oatnog season at Alfred for anyone who celebrates.
🕎 This is the last week to celebrate Hanukkah at Birdie G's! Reserve your spot here. From 12/5 - 12/8, you can enjoy a Hanukkah-themed dinner. Oh, and you can pre-order latkes and kugel for your own feast as well.
🔥 On Thursday 12/8, Monocle at Platform is having a Christmas market from 5-8 PM. There will be a fireside chat with their US editors and a holiday raffle.
🍸 Looking for a non-alcoholic holiday party? Well, De Soi is throwing one at The New Bar in Venice on Thursday 12/8. Spritzing in Winter Wonderland lol.
🍕 Teller at Platform is having a drawing, pizza, and wine night on Thursday 12/8. I love a gathering centered around an activity.
CAMBER IRL 🪩 We're throwing an exclusive holiday disco party on Friday 12/9 at a new bar in DTLA that isn't even open yet (ah!). First drink is on us, and we'll be boogie-ing the night away together. RSVP is required, and space is extremely limited here in our Geneva home in the "🪩 HOLIDAY DISCO 🪩" room.
🎄 Our friends at Facile are having a holiday shopping pop-up on Friday 12/9 & Saturday 12/10 from 12-4 PM at their Melrose Place store. You can shop from several beauty, wellness, and food brands with complimentary gift wrapping & hot coco. How cute!!
🛍️ This one is LA-adjacent: A Less is More Market is happening on Saturday 12/10 in Costa Mesa. If you're looking for unique and vintage gifts, you'll find them here.
🎁 Wanna do your holiday shopping from local women-owned businesses? DedCool, Charlotte Stone, and Back Beat Co are hosting a holiday pop-up in Highland Park on Saturday 12/10 & Sunday 12/11.
📍PLACES TO BE📍
Side Pie
Altadena
Pizza + natural wine = the perfect Camber approved restaurant 🍕
Side Pie offers wood-fired pizza out of a window in Altadena. This place oozes cool. You can grab pies to-go or eat in their backyard, which I would recommend. This spot is a unique idea for a casual, large birthday gathering.
Palihouse
West Hollywood
I got to stay at the brand new Palihouse in West Hollywood on their opening night, and wow. With a living room in the lobby that screams hygge and a pool lounge oozing with California cool, this hotel has all the makings of a grandiose European inn.
Every corner is accounted for, the rooms are retro and cozy, and the restaurant is one I'll be visiting frequently. If you have friends or parents coming from out of town who want to stay centrally, send them to Palihouse WeHo.
Broome Street General Store
Silver Lake
Walking around a home goods & gift shop is one of my favorite weekend activities. Added bonus if there's also coffee.
Of course, I'm talking about Broome Street General Store. This boutique/cafe in Silver Lake is stocked with gifts and trinkets galore with an outdoor patio to sip coffee after you've done your shopping 🎁
💬 ONE FINAL THING 💬
See ya around,
